BE GREEN. You don't need to conquer the world, just do your part in reducing your "footprint." Here are some ways you can start in your own world.

Check your paper towel roll.
If every household in the U.S.A. replaced just one six roll pack of regular paper towels with 100 percent recycled ones, we could save 5,700,000 trees.

Don't buy it. Use your own cup. You know you can!

Plastic bottles take 700 years before they begin to decompose in a landfill. If everyone in NYC (or that many people) gave up water bottles for one week they would save 24 million bottles from being landfilled; one month would save 112 million bottles and one year would save 1.328 billion bottles from going into the landfill.

DO THE CAN.
An Amazing, Infinitely Recyclable Material is aluminum beverage cans. They are 100 percent recyclable, can be recycled over and over again and go from recycling bin to the retail shelf in as few as 60 days. So next time you're grabbing a soda out of the fridge at a convenience store, think can instead of bottle.

BE A BEAUTIFUL SHADE OF GREEN

If you are GREEN and want to be noted here, just let us know by emailing
service@fargostuff.com with your idea.

"Corrugated boxes. Use them. I never ship in anything that has a glossy film on them. Use rough cardboard. Yes do that."

"I know plastic is convenient, but next time you go to a C-store, pick an aluminum can. I've heard they are easier to recycle."

"I have decided NEVER to take any groceries home in plastic bags. Let's all say no to that and get them outta here. Paper is natural. Use that."

"This sounds so basic, but here's mine. When I leave a room I turn off the T.V. Good grief. I can't believe I used to leave them all on."

"I'm OK at 67 degrees heat in the winter. It really doesn't feel much different than 72 (I used to have it up that high), and I'm just fine."

"I admit. I have to concentrate on recycling. But just set your mind to it. It becomes a good habit."

Thank you for being a BEAUTIFUL SHADE OF GREEN.
